BenQ 21" 16:9 all-in-one PC

Howdy!

Clearing out some more stuff i dont use, and here is another candidate. I got this last year, with a view to using it in the bedroom as a media centre, i bought it, got rid of XP home that was on there, put a legitimate version of XP MCE on there .... and that was it!

LOL

it was never turned on again! so it has to go, i have 11 computers, this just isnt used ...

Dont be fooled into thinking this is just a netbook in a box, its a little more than that, for a start, a full 1080p 21" screen, makes all the difference, it only has 1Gb of RAM, but its running XP, and the RAM is cheap and easy to upgrade, it has 6 USB ports, phones and mic, 1.3mp Webcam, an AMD Sempron (NOT an Intel Atom, and i can tell you, this runs quicker, and feels snappier) and it also has a Radeon X1200 Gfx chipset, which is loads better than the Intel GMA stuff, its not gonna set the world on fire, but its a bit quicker than your average Aspire One, or EeeeePC, and will play some older, less demanding games, it has other things in its favour, namely it has almost silent operation, and unless its under heavy load, its completely silent, it also runs with a mains adaptor @ 19V, so although it has a big screen, it also doesnt need massive amounts of juice ...

I can imagine this being used by some imager (and no, i dont miss imaging at all!) out in the field, and Stellarium on that 16:9 screen would look great

As i say, this is unused, and i dont mean some use, i mean unused, i would have sold it before now, if i had remembered it was there! have a look at the pics, and you will see it still has its plastic skin on some parts of it, volume control on the front, also doubles as an on/off switch, like an old fashioned TV! no box i am afraid, so pickup only, or something can be arranged, we all know how these kinda things work.

the price? looking for $500, and thats a bargain, when compaing it against the specs of lesser boxes, with smaller screens.
