Apps for a SmartQ V7?

I have bought bought a SmartQ V7 recently to use when travelling - it's got about 4 times the screen area of an iPod Touch and actually dual-boots 2 different OSs namely Android and a version of Linux - although I'm blowed if I know why. It has good wireless connectivity, HDMI video out, external USB 2.0 and accepts SDHC cards for additional storage. It is a useful little device that sits somewhere betyween a Netbook and an Ipod Touch, doesn't consume too much power, has good screen resolution and a touch screen. They class it as a MID (whatever that means).

I'm hoping I can load some useful astro Apps such as KStars onto this SmartQ as well - either running in Android or the Linux build. Are there any other users out there who have found any good apps that can run on this device?

Peter.

MID - mobile internet device

Im still stumped about how to get Kstars on the V5. Its too much geek speak.
Some people have offered advice but there are two problems.. They dont know the OS limits of the SmartQ devices and secondly, its like giving explicite instructions to someone in Swahili. The information may be correct and succinct but if it doesnt connect with the other person you may as well get instructions from your dog.

A further thought is to wait for StarMap Pro to be ported to the Android system. That would be the best option.

I did find Star Map (the Google app) last night in the Android Market. It's a free app. My initial playing with it has not exactly blown me off my feet. Is there a "Pro" version of this app somewhere?
