Arrow Sunset from the air

G'day

I took these photo's flying home from China. I think we were somewere over Thailand when I took these shots.

I love cloudscapes from the air, I fly quite often and never tire of these sights.

Awesome Cumulonimbus shots there, love the first one showing the forground Cb just starting to reach the mature stage. Love tropical storms, they are KINGS.

It's great to see shots like that Micko, not a lot of us can get a chance to see a sunset from up there..

It was great, the plane was almost empty and I had the pick of the windows. It also highlights the advantages of digital cameras I must have taken 30+ exposures to end up with these two

The flight into Gove last night got a bit more lightning than they bargained for ....
Got hit just outside of cairns & had to overfly Gove to Darwin for Engineering checks
And yes, itg was the Big storm cell the weather Bureau was warning about yesterday

Tell you what I am a BAD flyer to put it bluntly I hate flying. A little bit or turbulance and I am panicking.
