Jup Sept 18th Europa transit

Hi All,

Imaged Jupiter in pretty ordinary seeing last night, had hi alt Cirrus passing through for the duration but I did get the transit of Europa.

Disappointing to get such seeing at this time but at least you saw something. Nothing here at all again. Maybe tonight. Finger crossed.

Yes Paul, how I yearn for some descent seeing, reckon I am starting to experience withdrawal symptoms. Had another attempt last night, still processing now, only got 2 sets of RGB & IR data before thick white low level cloud rolled in.

I am an eternal optimist though and tonight is looking great at this early stage. Even looks like it will be clear down your way.

Thanks John, I suppose I should be thankfull to get any data, it sure seems that the weather conditions have favoured the USA greatly so far this apparition.
