Aussie Universe DVD

Not sure if this is old news to some (or not) but I just remembered .. I visited the Sydney Observatory a couple of times, a couple of months ago, and purchased, (yet another), "The Universe" DVD.

It runs for 110 minutes and covers a really wide range of Astro objects/topics:

Star Clusters, Life of a Star, Nebulae, Galaxies, The Cosmos (Fossils), Telescopes, Best of Hubble #1 & #2 and the Outback Sky.

Most of the images come from the Hubble and include 3D animation. The photography is absolutely stunning. It is distributed by:
Astrovisuals, and they also have others.

The content is very good, going into much more detail than the regular commercial stuff and is very much from an Astronomer's perspective.

For the price, I'd thoroughly recommend "The Universe". I haven't seen the rest, but if they're as good as this one, I'd go for them.

You can buy all 4 Astronomy DVDs for $Aus40.

Cheers

PS: I purchased "The Universe" for a mere $10. Definitely worth it.

Yes! I have this! And it is a fantastic watch - I agree!

I've only got the Universe one, which I bought from Australian Sky & Telescope Magazine. http://www.austskyandtel.com.au/BooksProducts/tabid/643/language/en-AU/Default.aspx
They have all of them except for "Hubble" (I want this one).

Craig, I had a look at the Astrovisuals link, is it Aus or US?
