Venus and crescent Moon 11th Sep

We had our group viewing on Saturday night so snaggled a few images of the Moon and Venus. They looked a cosy sight together in the west.

Major incoming cloud after that, and not much else seen, which has been the observing story for Townsville this year.

Wonderful shot Liz.

I had a fleeting look at them at the local star party on Sat. night, but then the clouds closed up to a solid mass and that was that for the rest of the night. Oh well!

Your Venus is blazing. I almost need my sunglasses. A great sight.
