Jupiter in reasonable seeing 3rd Sept.

Just a quick stack from the last AVI I took for the morning. Hopefully I have better in the 50 odd GIG of data I acquired.

Thats pretty good, detail throughout the disc. Don't know if seeing will get better in Spring and I might have a chance for a go myself.

John.

Good this shoot.
Beautiful colors too, and processing.
Congratulations, many details about the planet.

Very nice work John, glad you finally got some reasonable seeing.
Reckon it must be more satisfying capturing data than polishing the car.

Regards
Trevor

Thanks guys. I'm a bit peeved, as the seeing was ranging from 4-9/10 but generally speaking I think it's an average 6-7/10 overall. I was seeing detail in oval BA probably 40% of the time in the raw feed.

Oh well I can't complain. I'm grateful for what I did get that's for sure

I'm working backwards so here's the second to last AVI.

700 frames stacked.

Excellent shot.
In my opinion, you get even more 'detail, pulling more' levels.

Obviously much depends on your taste by computing this.

Congratulations.

Excellent images John. Lots of detail and nice colours. I hope the rest of your data is as good.

Thanks guys. Michael I have one that might have the edge over the other two but basically the rest of the data is much the same. Off to stack another one.

Heres the best of the bunch I think. I don't think the seeing really supported the image scale on this night so I'm displaying the best capture reduced in size.

Thanks for looking.

Hi John
Excellent images - I reckon image 2 and 3 are the best of a great bunch!
Hope you get more time and conditions soon.
