After 4 years of excellent service I have decided to sell my beloved 8" GSO dob
. This was my first scope and has been Mini-Morbius' scope for the last couple of years, but I'm moving to the dark side (imaging), so he inherits my 10" and the 8" is no longer used.
The scope comes with:
- Crayford focuser
- Right angle finder scope
- Red dot finder
- 1.25" Plossl eyepieces: 4mm, 9mm, 15mm, 25mm
- Laser collimator
Be aware that the collimator has a dodgy connection somewhere and every once in a while requires you to fiddle with it to get the laser to come on. I'm sure a DIY handy-person should be able to sort it out.
The scope itself has been well looked after and is in very good condition. The mirror could use a clean, but is unblemished.
Looking for $350 ono.
Pickup on the Sunshine Coast (QLD) is preferred as I don't have the original packing material to trust to a courier.
