Fist viewing in months

Had my first outing in months tonight.

Saw A,B,C,D,E,and F in the trapezium (even with the street light)
Jewel box looked stunning
The large and small Meg clouds kept me busy for quite a while.

All in all it was great to be back under the stars.

Even though there was no cloud, I didn't setup last night because there was so much humidity in the air. The dew was really heavy and I'm glad I gave it a miss.
Later we had cloud rolling in and that was it.

Don't knock the 1 meter extra height mate, it makes all the difference he he. Didn't get to see Saturn, I'll leave that for Kulnura weather permitting.

I think I know how you felt when you were back under the stars Cahullian. Last week I've been out twice (last time was the 30th of august : )and the conditions were both times fantastic, seeing and transparency were almost perfect. To bad it was so cold (last time -6°C or 21°F). Christmas time = observing time .
