Latest scope - 18"

An 17.7" mirror was donated to the Cederberg Observatory by the estate of the late Eugene van der Walle (A longstanding member of the Cape Centre of the Astronomical Society Of South Africa). We decided to name the telescope "Eugene" and as a result his name will be remembered.
Here are a couple of pics of the telescope. first, some of the components, second, lining up and setting the struts and the final telescope at the Cederberg.

"Eugene" is a fine looking instrument, Chris. I admire your innovative design solutions, mate. Nice stuff.

Do you have a light baffle for behind the secondary?

No light at the obs so no light baffle needed. I made one out of black kydex but don't need to fit it.
