M71 and M13 at 0.453"/pixel

M71 (31 minutes total)

M13 (30 minutes unfiltered)

I tried to get color data but the wind keeps messing me up.

maybe I should try again... I think I have most of it for M13 but still need blue...

A nice couple of shots Richard, thanks for sharing them. And yes color would be nice .

Very impressive equipment too, only out done by the view - beautiful looking astro site you have there.

Hi Marc

Thanks for the comment. I can't remember the exact weight but you can count the number of 18pounder counterweights on the bar....

I seem to remember the frame is about 50# roughly and the primary mirror is about 35#

the camera, filter wheel, guide camera, OAG and secondary mirror plus Robo may be another 15-20# (just guessing)

Super oversampled data there Richard, but it has worked a treat. M13 is my pick of the two, though you've done both justice at the Focal length you're operating at. Would be good to see some colour data. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the positive comments.

Not to argue but the seeing I get is regularly in the low 1s to mid 1s. The night I shot these it was running about 1.4-1.5"

So my image scale of 0.453"/pixel is not so oversampled. In fact when it runs in the 1.1" range, which happens often, the sampling is just about optimium.
