Cool Iss

I was just doing some Lunar observing when I spotted the ISS, was not expecting it
I put the 16" on it with a 30mm eyepiece, wow what a view the Solar Panels where as plain as day.
I wsh it was traveling just slightly more to the South East, it would have been easier to track

Almost the same Dave I was doing some very High Magnification observing 609xmag trying to see the "river" down "Vallis Alpes" no joy
but the seeing was brilliant, very still and the Moon was just about on the meridian when I caught sight of the ISS
I had to change eyepieces, and by the time I had focused on a star the ISS was low down, but I managed to get a couple of looks before it went over the hill due East of me.

I check out heavens-above after checking Inceinspace posts first noticed that it will be flying almost directly over my house again at MAG -3.5. Hope the clouds stay away. It will stay up longer in view too.
