it's only 10 degrees warmer than SEQ in the middle of winter.
damn it's been warm the last day or so

how about 25 deg in the shade right now, 27 earlier on. And it only got down to 19.2 last night.

Some of those forecasts for Volgograd and Samara are far more impressive than anything Melbourne could ever hope to see. Literally 40's for the entire 5 day forecast period.

Nah, the current weather on the other side of the globe is absolutely no indication of what the weather will be like here. I predict we'll just see another stock standard summer of low- mid 20's temps, 15c nights and average sunshine with the occasional isolated day of 35c or more.
