In these days, and with the maximum approach the day 8, we can observe Venus Mars and Saturn in conjunction among them. The maximum grouping, visible in the evening of August 7, will be with the 3 planets in an area of only 4.7°.
The current ongoing conjunction in our western evening skies is a lovely sight to behold and watch unfold from night to night, even Mercury is trying to sneak into the lineup.
I could see venus with the naked eye before the sun went down this afternoon! So i got the telescope out to view it... in sunlight! They look great at the moment.
