I need to clear some space as I have too many mounts so am selling my HEQ5 Pro. The mount is about 2 years old ( I bought it new) and is in as new condition except a few minor chips on the counter weights and where the head fits to the tripod (no rust). It has seen very little use (about ten times) and spent most of the time taking up room in my cupboard so must be moved. Included are the following.
1. HEQ5Pro goto mount
2. Synscan controller V3 (flash updateable).
3. Tripod and spreader
4. 2 x 5kg counter weights (one white, one black)
5. All original cables and manual
6. Polar scope
The mount has an ST4 port for auto guiding and can be controlled by a PC or laptop if desired. Pointing accuracy once aligned (3 star alignment) is great even if you are not accurately polar aligned. Depending on who you believe the mount can carry between 13.5 - 17kg. I have only used the mount to carry a 80mm refractor so cannot verify its total capacity.
I have the original packing box for the mount but not the tripod so would prefer to sell it locally if possible. These mounts go new for between $1200 - $999 dollar specials at Andrews so I am asking $500 firm and the buyer pays postage.
