I've been communicating with Gilman in recent times.
He's advised that in order to resolve the issue with eyepieces not coming to focus with their "advanced" focuser, they are going to shorten the optical tube assembly.
As a consequence, there's going to be an increase in price, especially as the RMB/USD is a bit lower than it was when a lot of us purchased these little you-beaut scopes.
Apparently, this change will be implemented in the coming month.
