Honeyeaters

Hi all,

Here are a couple more images taken at Jimna State forest last weekend. The first is a Lewin's Honeyeater, and the second is a Bell Miner (a.k.a. "Bellbird"). These Bell Miners are very hard to capture because they don't sit still for long, and if they do it tends to be up high in the canopy. So I was quite happy to have captured this one! Taken using my Pentax K100D and Sigma 70-300mm telephoto.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
Stephen

Hi Stephen

A couple of lovely photos under what appears to be some quite challenging light conditions. Well done!

Cheers
