DIYers only - moving cooled and spectrum enhanced Canon 1000D on to interested party

DIYers only, perhaps! PM if interested.

With increasing work commitments, I am having less time to spend on projects.

Would anyone be interested in the Canon 1000D project that I have been modifying and making it their own.

Alternatively, I will remove the modified parts, restore the camera to new and sell it off. Which will leave the sensor assembly/cold finger, Peltier module heat sink, electronics and PSU for anyone wishing to create their own system. Now maybe that's a better idea.

However, the camera is spectrum enhanced with an Astrodon inside filter and a cold finger Peltier cooing mod, which works very well and is fully controllable.

I really don't know what it's worth, but if it is worth something to you, then perhaps we can come to an arrangement.

There is a PSU too, if that is needed.

Keep in mind it is a working prototype here and here.

Then again, I may just be off my rocker thinking that someone might be remotely interested.

Of course I would be happy to instruct the interested party in the operation of the camera cooling system etc.

I will link this to the IIS classifieds.

Rowland.

The 1100D improves on the noise of the 1000D, Jay. You've done a good job on your mod. I think you will be satisfied with the results.
