does anyone else hold the view that full disc moon shots are unusual, in as much as that the main thing is resolution and when you reduce for web you lose the main objective? maybe defeating the purpose? whereas i cant think of another type of astro shot were that is as critical? i mean it will be a long time before planetary imagers will have that problem with image size being still relatively small with webcams
which do you prefer colour or greyscale? - i find i lose some detail in the dimmer areas with greyscale - while it brings out the detail in the brighter areas - i cant make my mind up
still going to get a decent external focusing device - maybe a cheap laptop or portable dvd player - thats why i havent done anymore really since
