Nothing listed for the next few days. You could try iview.

They say this one was a baby. There's another one overdue to blow that's several times bigger - the UK geologist doing most of the explanations said something about a 10Km wide caldera.

If it does blow all those NH observers might have nothing to look at for a few months.

What's it all about? Yes, I know "title says it all", but it didn't say enough to me

OK, I looked it up!

"In April 2010 an eruption from a volcano in Iceland paralysed air travel across Europe. As a cloud of volcanic ash drifted over the continent it created the biggest ‘no fly’ zone ever known.

But in the chaos, one British geologist made it to the heart of the eruption zone. Professor Nick Petford went to explore the science behind the crisis.

Following the eruption of Iceland's Eyjafjallajökull volcano, The Volcano That Stopped The World explores the untold geological and scientific background behind the headlines of this extraordinary story.

This one-hour program explores the dangers posed by the ash and the effects that it has on aircraft and aviation, as well as exploring the impacts of further possible eruptions to the UK, Europe and the world."
