Curly leads?

After reading so many posts about bent or broken lead plugs/sockets I wondered why folks don't use more flexible curly leads.

That's a good question, curly leads would probably be no less prone to interference than the flat items most people use, FWIW I've been using a curly cord as a line cord (as distinct from handpiece cord) on my test telephone for the past 15 years, same cord no problems, gets used regularly.

Only readily available as 4 wire curly handset cord, we have them at work, the longest stretch to 8 metres.

Ok.... now tell me you want one Mr Ponders...
