America/Chicago/Frampton & Bon Jovi- Bring it on.

America/Chicago/Peter Frampton concert - tickets on sale as of today -Monday 28th June through Ticketmaster. To have all three performing in the one concert is going to be a real treat and one heck of a show. I think America is one of the greatest bands around. Who could forget such classic hits as Ventura Highway, Sister Golden Hair, and Horse With No Name (to name just a few).

BTW what the heck does "Aligator Lizards in the air" mean in the song "Ventura Highway"? - has always baffled me.

Also, Bon Jovi are heading to our Aussie shores in December, and tickets for that go on sale in July. If you're super rich and can afford it, the $3,000 V.I.P.tickets are on sale right now which includes accommodaton and goodness knows what else; but for that sort of money I would at least expect a peck on the cheek by Ricky or Jon .

Oh, and I nearly forgot... for any Jon English fans out there, he is touring at the moment and is playing this week in Brissy at the Ipswich Civic Hall (Thurs) Logan Entertainment Centre (Sat) and Redland Performing Arts (Fri) before heading on to NSW. I've been to many concerts, and this guy is the best singer & entertainer out of them all, and I see him as often as I can. I saw them live a couple of times, they were very impressive, however I recently bought a DVD of one of their later Australian concerts and was very disappointed, seems that a decade or two has eroded their talent.

A huge end of 2010 for music fans. The shows you mention as well as The Eagles, Metallica, Powderfinger and also Simply Red. We are going to The Eagles, Metallica, Powderfinger and Bon Jovi just too much to go and see two more (America and Simply Red), without throwing 1927 in to the mix as well.

These shows better not fall on new moon weekends .

I didn't know Simply Red was coming to town Oh... have to make the cut off point somewhere... I still have Englebert & Andre lined up to see aside from America, Bon Jovi & Jon English.. All in Oct & Nov.
