Lagoon Neb

Hi. Just a quick one flying out the door to work.

7 x 65 second subs and darks. Darks averaged to make a master and subtracted from each sub then stacked by hand.

Applied Ivo's StarBright to raise the colours with some sharp and contrast adjustment - very minor. .jpeg doesn't do any favours.

Didn't see the Triffid Nebula at the edge of the frame until I downloaded the files. Next time I'll get both.

Added a second image for comparison. This time tone mapping the final .tiff image stack to produce two additional variants, then stacking them with the .tiff image stack.

Thanks guys! Encouraging. Though, it really needs more signal and better tracking, focus and cropping. But I'm amazed by some of the finer detail such as the areas of dust.

Added a second image for comparison, slightly different approach to processing???
