Conjunction Venus-Regulus

On the 10th July at 11:51 U.T., Venus will be exact to 1 degree from Alpha Leonis. We can admire the two stars which are very close in the evening of the same day or previous.

For east coast Australia Venus sets at about 20:29 AEST (10:29 UTC).

For extra credit 304 Olga at about mag 14 is almost exactly in the middle of the gap.
