2 globulars on Norma/Lupus border

Hi all
On one of the chilliest nights this winter I went for 2 globulars that fit in the one frame. NGC 5927 and fainter 5946. Theres an uncharted dark nebula top right.

19x5 mins ISO200, uv/ir filter, mpcc coma corrector, modded 350d, 6 inch f3.6 "cometracker" SN. Hand guided. 8 degrees ambient. Dark frames were just that, very dark with vrtually no thermal noise. Seeing was excellent too!

The freezer suit came in very handy!

Great image there Scott, you are very brave, the weather certainly has been cold.

Not many fields with two globs that close, nice work.

Thanks. Was so cold but gee the DSLR works so well when its that cold.
Only other field with 2 globs in is in the milky way area. I could have in fact squeezed another, much fainter glob in this pic but would not have been able to frame the 2 bright ones as they were.

Two for the price of one, nicely done & all those stars make a nice backdrop for the dark neb (molecular cloud BHR 110).

An extreme form of camera cooling but hey if it works.
