Narrowband effort

Hey all, I thought I'd post this as a work in progress,as it's only Ha and OIII data (SII still to come). It's the first image I've managed to put together using the Tak and HX916, so it's a bit of a learning curve composition It consists of 2 hours Ha and 2 hours OIII (all 10 min subs binned 1x1) no flats, stacked and colour combined using the TWO option in Maxim 5, and processed in PS4. Taken from the Groomes property near Murgon Qld 11/06/2010. Thanks for looking, and comments and advice most welcome.

Nice shot Darrell...interesting colours so far. Darks and flats would've helped with the little bit of noise that is there (look in the darker areas), but it's nice anyway.

We'll have to call it the Purple Lagoon (with pastel blue-green fringes) from now on

Not too keen on the colors but all the rest is simply superb. Great shot.

A nice sharp image Darrell.

The second one is a lot better and brings out a lot more of the detail.

Cheers

Nice one Darrel. I am starting to enjoy the detail shown with NB images, the colour still sometimes makes me wonder but the detail is fantastic. Very nice smooth image. Well done.
