Narrowband Lagoon

Please forgive the unoriginal target - experiments with narrowband imaging are my excuse...this is atill a wip - something nasy happened to my Sii data so this is Ha/Oiii and the third channel synthesised.

Some nice details showing there John. Sure the colour looks a little unconventional but hey them's the breaks when issues happen

Reprocessed

I managed to get the Sii data to register and stack...result is attached - it is a bit too green now - but this seems to be in line with other images of this object in the Hubble palette...still learning..

I agree and the magenta halos are in the Hubble shots too. For some reason this gets frowned apon in amateur narrowband imaging circles, not sure why..? so imagers have resorted to taking some RGB to colour the stars more naturally - ah, conformity, gotta love it
