I made my first purchase from the Astroguy over in Perth last week.
I can only say that his service is definitely different from most of the Astro goodie shops I use in Australia.
During the week I received a couple of emails and a phone call to tell me my gear had arrived. At no time was I in the dark about my purchase.

I'll echo this. I recently bought a scope from Shane and can honestly say his customer service is top notch. Not only that, but his prices were far better than any dealer in Sydney and the scope was shipped straight to my door at no extra cost. When I discovered that the OTA was dented, Shane was quick to organise a replacement from the supplier. As mentioned above his communication is excellent. Highly recommended.

Yep - I was certainly a happy chappy buying my 314E from him.

And when my upgrade fever kicks in (and it will), I'll be getting a 383 as well.
