Queenslander! Queenslander

Proud to be a Queenslander

After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, Melbourne scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

Not to be outdone by the Victorians, in the weeks that followed, a Sydney archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a story published in the Sydney Morning Herald read:

"New South Wales archaeologists, finding traces of 130-year-old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network 30
years earlier than the Victorians".

One week later, the Courier Mail in Brisbane , Queensland , reported the following:

"After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture near Beenleigh , Queensland , John Brown, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing at all.
Johnhas therefore concluded that 130 years ago, Queensland had already gone wireless."

Just makes you proud to be a Queenslander!

John Browns data is not complete though as he didn't allow for daylight
saving , meaning being an hour and 10 years behind the rest of the nation he needed to dig a little deeper.

I heard at around 140 years of depth they found clay tablets that
suggested language had been mastered ,what really stumped the
scholars who were translating the hyrogliphs was back then the locals
could spell beer and today there descendants can't.

An alternative to Mr Browns findings could be there was nothing above 130 years with good reason , that society was reggressing towards to were we find it today.

Good try but I have to correct a few points:

1) They were not clay tablets they were an early version of an iSlate
2) Being 1 hour and 10 years behind only means that we have more time to prepare for what is comming and work out the solution while you lot are just noticing it and we have already figured out that you cant change the time the sun rises and sets you can only pretend too.
3) And lastly noone else could even understand the great strides made in our society it was so advanced.

Good one
If John Brown had dug down a little deeper he might have found some coal - there's coal near Beenleigh isnt there? There are some idiots around here who think coal was made only 5,000 years ago
