Would anybody be interested in a meet to photograph the partial eclipse on June 26? Occurs at moonrise so a late night is not required.
Location suggestions welcome, northern NSW/southern Gold Coast. Byron may be a possibility - where is moonrise at this time of year in relation to the lighthouse - anyone know? I plan to go to the location selected the evening before to see where the moon is actually rising so as to be prepared, or if anyone local can go and report that would be great.
I found 2 Flickr groups with lunar eclipse shots from 28/08/2007 event. Some good inspirational ideas there.

I's like to try for a shot of the moon reflected in a lake or dam or similar still body of water. Anyone know a suitable site? It could look absolutely fantastic (or it might not work at all) but I'd like to try it.
