M20

This is a first light shot on my new em-200 mount and my new/replacement QHY9 camera.
It is also my first image in here in 3 months. Yes it's been raining that long

This was more about pointing and guiding and making sure everything was still working rather than imaging and it all went well for me. This batch of files was guided with PHD from the horizon almost to zenith. After the flip it came back into the FOV on it's own without realignment. Maxim guiding graph showed +/- .25 pixel variation on the night. Magic

This is about 20 odd x 5 minute subs all binned 1x1 LRGB with about 6 x 15min subs of Ha blended in.
FS-102 @ F8 with a QHY9 and shot from lightpollutionville.
Cropped a bit due to Ha being off center after the flip. Nothings perfect

Congrats Robin on the awakening of your new imaging weapon of mass destruction
Great tracking there, and image is pretty damned nice for an "engineering night"!

Cheers guys. If I can get this new light box finished in time I can have a bash with the 10" newt on the week-end. I think it's ready to go now and it looks like the weather is starting to turn around at last. What a crappy 6 months it's been so far this year for astro stuff.
