what a perfect night on the coast of NSW- but cold

well it is clear - i dont have to go to work tomorrow and i have just captured 3 hours of the triffid with more to come. i hav watched the temperature from 11 through to 4.5 at the moment and its just 10pm. I am sure i will see frost by the morning. its warm inside but will go up the back soon so as not to disturb the wife and kids. Freezer suit is waiting LOL.

Perfect night here also...... except for the rain, the wind, the clouds, the fog and of course the fact I am on night shift.

I'm jealous too.

A few loud swear words should diffuse the situation.

wel time for darks and to sneak back inside the house

well with a few shots to be deleted i think i have all up maybe 6-7 hours worth of data

I was out observing comets last night, it was -3 at 7pm and at 2am it was -5 when i got up to view 65P and 10P (which is brightening nicely)

Walcha had -8 in town and it was at least -5 where i was 30kms East of Walcha.

Woolbrook will probably be on the news tonight as the coldest in the state, which is 20kms West of Walcha.

It only got down to 1.7 here - but that was at 7am. It had been below 3 since about 1:30.

A hard frost here in the Northern Tablelands. My birdbath is still frozen at 9am. No viewing last night due to high cloud. The coast seems to have had better conditions.

It looking like a great weekend down my way as well.

The nights are expected to go down to -3 and clear skies predicted as well.

I'll be getting the old scope fired up for sure.
