I love the colour against the black and white effect.

Interesting... only the girls have responded so far - pic a rose for a topic and all us girls seem to gravitate towards it!

Yes it is kinda funny about that, but girls are always wanting flowers so it doesn't surprise me! Just glad you liked it

I have a project idea for that rose if your interested....

Curious to see how it would turn out if you had next to the rose, a champagne flute half filled with a bubbly champagne , the rose laying on its side next to the glass, with some sliver bling necklace (not a fine one, and not too chunky) delicately trailing from the rose to the rim of the glass, wrapping around the stem of the glass just a little and trailing off. Keeping the background with interested with black textures, bringing out the red of the rose and the green leaves, and add just a bit of neutral colour with the champagne, and just some neutral sparkle with the necklace.
I'm not a photographer, nor do I know anything about it, I just get all these crazy ideas when I see beautiful pics - perhaps because I do scrapbooking, in that I love to bring things together.
Just a crazy idea from a girl - you will post pics of roses!
