Macros – despite Force 10 gales at Roma St Parklands!

Hello,

We visited Roma Street Parklands at the weekend and despite the best efforts of the blustery SW winds, managed to grab a few macro shots. These were only made possible through the assistance of my lovely wife, who gripped the blooms to steady their swaying heads from their crazy, wind driven gyrations.

It was too cold for the many resident Eastern Water Dragons to even bother making an appearance.

Thanks for looking!

Dennis

Thanks for looking and leaving those nice comments – I appreciate them.

I watched the Uranus and Neptune spaceflight program last night and if the Brisbane skies hold up, I think the simulated trip might have just been the stimulation I need to get out and image these outer gas giants once more, although I note that it will be around 3:00am or 4:00am before they are suitably positioned right now.

Cheers

Dennis

PS – thanks for the Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog ID Chris!
