Hurry up and WAIT

Hi all I am at work atm taking an image of a Mirrored Raid in a server to upgrade from 80G to 250G HDD's its all a big rush to get started then you sit around twiddling your thumbs while the image happens. I have a nice view to the eastern sky and I have IIS on the browser so it's not so bad with all you great friends to chat with while I do battle with this server.

I always wanted to buy one of those IBM Blade servers and run terminal services...just have dumb terminals with a kick-arse blade in the rack. So for each dumb terminal there's a blade in the rack...mirrored server with three 250G HDDs would be cool.

No idea what I'd use it for though.

I am suprised this server still works at all the server closet has dust so deep I nearly lost my phone when I dropped it and looks like the mice have been ripping up the foil insulation and it is spread all round the server

You might be able to control some remote control planes with cameras in the cockpit and really get some good footage.

Unfortunately the limitation is range with live video feed, which is a power limitation and of course that becomes a weight limitation.

There are some good HD cameras out there now, but it's on HD after you download the files. Oh well !!!

There were some blades in work's last end-of-lease listing, but no racks. They weren't cheap.
