One of the Eurovision contestants this year...Juliana Pasha, from Albania. She sounds a little like Anastacia, except her voice isn't as deep. Great song though, really quick paced and catchy tune. One of quite a few really good songs at the competition this year.
Was it just the song, Carl? The artist isn't exactly one of "the ugly sisters"!
I didn't mind the winner either- Satellite (Germany). I was drawn in by references to satellite, orbit, gravity and physics! My daughter thought it was corny though.

Yes, quite entertaining. When I get home I'll have to try it with the sound.
Some of the comments made by people on those songs that have been put up on YouTube are nothing short of ridiculous. Especially the ones posted by some people on Eva Rivas's video, "Apricot Stone". Not one of them has a clue about the history of their own countries...especially those people that are apparently Turkish. But then again, I've seen some silly comments made by others there. Too much xenophobia and racism in so many people these days. And it's been exploited by governments (who are just as bad). Much of it is politically and culturally motivated in any case...and all underpinned by ignorance and stupidity.
Rob...yeah, Juliana is quite easy on the eye, however, you should see Eva, Kristina, Sofia and Lena. Bit too young though!!!! Tisk tisk

One thing though, if they had've allowed voting from other countries, Giorgos Alkaios would've won just on the votes from here alone. The 45 billion Greeks that live in Oz would've voted for him, for sure!!
