I will talk to anyone when i know more about this web site

I dont have a telescope ,but i do like looking at the stars from the ground laying on a sheet or watever i can find. i found out about this site by my hubbie wombat_in _ space. I also like watching things about the planets and stars and i am slowly starting to read astromony books as well. Maybe one day i will like looking through a telescope , but the one i love in the movie tomb raider 1 where u can sit on a chair and look up instead of standing up lol.So i am slowly learning about the stars and planets and i even did the quiz so i might win something lol. Well merry christmas to everyone and a happy new year.

Merry Christmas to you too Toni.
Why doesnt MrWombat have a chair for his dobbie? It certainly makes viewing more comfortable. The easiest solution is to get a high wooden bar stool and cut the legs to a suitable length to suit the dob.

Hi Toni. Do mean that wombat won't let you look through his scope

Boy you will be popular at home if you win first prize. It'd make a great xmas pressie, or held back for a bit of bribery.

Merry Xmas mate. Cheer

Welcome Toni! Tell Darren to buy you an outdoor recliner and a good pair of 8x40/7x50/10x50 binos!

Welcome Toni
Great to see another, better 1/2 here on the forum.
If you want a good reclining observing chair this is my Favourite one !
My Wife bought a pair of them so we could do casual observing together
They were from Freedom, but I believe K-mart now have them cheaper & yes they fold flat.

I got this one:

from this mob (Chadstone VIC store):

At $79, it's a bargain with a good range of adjustments from fully horizontal to close to upright; and it folds flat.

Toni, how can you live in a house that has enough telescopes to start a scope shop and you don't look through any of them!!!!

Darren, share your scopes mate!!!! Or buy Toni one for herself!
