On to other matters.
I had problems with Stellariumscope and that wonderful OS Vista.
Stellariumscope would not or could not find my GPS device.
Problem solved with a programme called Xport. Xport is a small start up progamme that is free.
If you wish to check it out, type "Xport GPS" into google and there it is, no more lost ports.
Made my day, may solve some problems for you too
