Some cool sun today - proms and filaments

Hi all

I was able to image the Sun this morning - I captured a nice large filament that we have seen great images of - it looks really 3D in the inverted image.
I tried to blend the large prominence with the disc features - still learning this!
Lunt 60, 2.5 Powermate, DMK31.

I'm glad you caught these beauties. They were fantastic to look at before work this morning (as I rabbited on in my post in observational astronomy).

I am currently taking images of the filament every 10 minutes - it has changed alot and I hope to create a good series!

Great 3D effect in that inverted image (my fils always look flat!) Looks like its thinning and lengthening
