M83 repro

I just redid this one using the Rob Gendler technique Lars linked me too.

The luminance layer was added in twice first at 50% and second at 100%. It does give more signal and less background noise. Handy for galaxy shots for sure.

TEC180fl, FLI ML8300, HaLRGB 20 190 70 50 60.

Nice Greg but check the background their appears to be a gradient, even this up and it will be super

I did some more work on it and it seems pretty even on my monitor now.

Nice Greg a more even background what process did you use for this, I noticed you also inceased saturation, did you use Carboni's Actions for this ie: increase star colour

Here is your original image after a slight adjustment by me hope you don't mind

what I did was select m83 with the lasso
the select inverse
gradient terminator on background
the adjsuted selective colour black
deselect
carboni's action to increase star colour
DeepSkyColours HLVG to remove green tinge
