M20 using 10" GSO RC and QHY 9

Taken on Friday night (temp got down to a whopping 4 degrees) using the GSO 10" RC, QHY-9 (with dealer supplied colour filters) and tracked on a losmandy G-11. Guiding done with MaximDL and Lodestar on an Orion APEX 102 (102mm mak cass)

Pic Stats are as follows:
60 min Lum total (6x10min subs)
16 mins each R,G,B (3min20sec subs X5)
QHY-9 at -25 degrees with TEC running at 20-30% power.

no darks or flats have been used (yet)
Stacked in ccdstack and photoshop curves edited.

let me know what you think, especially any improvements with the color processing!

Sensational image. You nailed that one, colours, tracking , focus, details.

Very nicely done. That's the first image I have seen from a 10 inch GSO RC. Impressive.

Greg.

Very nice Grahame There's detail at 4 o'clock that you don't normally see in day to day M20's. Top effort

Grahame,

Wow! Your image has done the 10" GSO RC some justice indeed.

Looking forward to more from this setup.
