Hi all, this is only 3 x 10 minute exposures (would have like more exposures, but cloud) captured with 14" LX200 at f6.3 and Astro 40D at iso 800. Image is cropped due to out of focus stars near the edge of the FOV. Also there is PGC 45317 nearby at magnitude 15.3 and size of 0.9 x 0.3' .

I was able to add 3 x 15 minute exposures to the stack. Although I wanted 10 images, cloud hindered my plans.

That's a nice image Lester - good detail in the galaxy. The extra 3 x 15 min subs certainly made a difference.

I was able to add 7 x 15 minute exposures to the total stack. Don't think I can improve much on this.

Thanks Nettie and Andrew for your comments. It's very interesting what different people like in the processed image; it's really an art that I am still learning.

All the best.
