l've decieded to go back to a SCT for some deep space imaging so this is my new although bought secondhand C8 with custom made tube rings and Event Horizon focuser with Robofocus.

I loved my old C8 (black tube like yours) - first serious scope I had back in Scotland. Hope it performs well for you.
That focuser looks serious too!
