Angry Dam Locusts

Is anyone else here having a problem with the Locust plague right now
OMG this is the worst case in over 40 years they are making a mess everywhere, you should see peoples cars they are now splattered with yellow muck all over the front of them not to mention the poor truckies They are eating all the crops etc in sight
They are that bad outside right now it sounds like it is raining out there
What does this mean they are going to be like in the spring time
Oh please please rain and make em go away

The cat thought it was great the first couple of days he was bouncing around the backyard chasing them all day long Now he just looks at them and turns the other way, he has had enough too

I rode my ducati from Geralton to Perth during a locust plague (~400km). My bright red bike was kind of a gooey yellow as were my boots, jeans, jacket and helmet. Took about a week to get it all off.....sticky buggers.

Blooming heck, that's my worst nightmare. I have to spot only one and I will be screaming and running. Not nice when the cat brings the odd one inside the house.

No locusts up my way Jen.

This time of year we get the Devil moths as I call them. these moths are about a hand span across with their wings open and their eyes glow a brilliant irridescent red when the light catches them.

Very evil looking.
