in time an electronic library

Hi all, I have just started a web page and like many other web pages it will mostly be a stroke to the creators ego.

However in the 'Important Documents' section I am hoping to gather on-line historical astronomy books and over time create an interesting collection of books that show how astronomy was being done in the 1800's.

Currently there is an excellent math course developed for the British military, John Herschel's General Catalogue, and a start at recording my own observations on the web (ego stroke plus a good way to save when computer crashes.)

This is very definitely a work in progress but over time I hope to create a valued resource for those interested in how we got here from there.
Brian
