Seymour VIC - anyone?

Hi all,
Yesterday I was in Seymour - bbq in the park, walk, it was a beautiful day

I was wandering what is the situation re LP there.. and how is it with real estate: yes, I am planning for retirement and this little town is very high on my list as a potential residence (and permanent observatory, of course).
If anyone knows this area, please let me know what you think?

It would be a great place for an observatory, you can see more from there than anywhere else!!

(1) Light glow to 20 deg in the south from Melbourne lights
(2) Light glow to 10 deg in the north from Shepparton lights
(stuffs up the Andromeda)
(3) Light glow to 10 deg in the north west from Bendigo lights
(4) Dark sky due East! & Zennith
(4) Damn! HOT! in summer
