I Read about it on BBC News site. Fabulous stuff. What I want to know, is how can they keep the thing pointing EXACTLY at what they are looking at when they are doing 700 klm/hr through wind and atmosphere???
All of us down here on terra firma have great difficulty aligning our measly scopes, yet in a moving 747 ----HOW????
Anybody explain?????

A very interesting article Ron

I was actually having the same thoughts as Jimmy, I suppose with todays technology NASA will have that all worked out with stabilisers, balancers and the like.

Cheers
