experiments in aesthetics

I suppose everything on IIS is an experiment, but here are some aesthetic angles I thought were interesting.
1. Flash accident practically ruined my night. but shows up nice behind me
2-3. Some wide shots of the L&S MCs
4-5. Power pole and milky way just looked good at the time
6. I’m sure you've seen this before, I never had, some probably regard it as bad photography practice but I thought it looked great.

Hi Michael,

I think they look great.
First photo is a really good self portrait. Vincent van Gogh had "Self portrait" and "The Starry Night", you could call yours "Self Portrait with Starry Night".

I like the light pole one as well. Looks very dramatic.

Number six is good too.

took these last year so I cant really remember
EOS450D, all would most likely be iso400
1. flash went off on bulb, (ironic) and it stayed on for the duration of my venting.
2. is around 3.30
3-5. is anywhere from 5-8mins cant really remember
6. could actually be the new slipstream warp drive @ warp 1 or it could be Projection onto the 450D via a 25ml 1.25 piece through a WO 2" dielectric and an FLT110, @iso800 for 2.5mins , makes for an interesting combo.
