NGC 7293 from Yass

Hello everyone.
Yes, this is old data indeed, but not yet aired until now.

Anyone imaging the Helix using NB filters will know that its SII emission is negligible to say the least. So, keen as I was to produce an SHO palette of this object, I just kept on getting SII data while the Ha and OIII acquisiton was done after 7 hours. Having then got a whopping 25 hours SII, I just could not manage to put the palette together satisfactorily, as even with so much exposure time, I had to upscale it mathematically for it to make an impact.

So, after multiple, multiple retries I think this is the result I was looking for, but I would value your feedback as always

In the end, this was L(Ha)HASIIOIII 7:25:7:7 Hours. 12.5" RC, SBIG STL11K, Astrodon filters, AOL guided.

Geez Martin, i want to know how you got a corridor to space with no atmosphere. That's as good as Hubble,LOL.

Outstanding NB image and palette choice Martin.
Definitely the impact you were looking for is there!

NB may take quite a few nights to collect but it all brings a new dimension to old favourites.
