Hi Bert,
What a super image. I see a couple of very distant slightly obscured Globulars in there as well.Wonderful FOV,and focus & tracking as good as it gets. Very well done.
Cheers,
Duncan
Great one Bert!! The Doodad show up very clearly. We had a discussion on the Doodad last year in one of the forums, I thought Eric was pulling my leg with that name, but its fair dinkum.
Let's give him his full name - de old "Dark Doodad"! See page 50 Sky & Telescope's Pocket Sky Atlas.
Nice capture, Bert and great FOV, capturing the two globulars as well.
Great in the binos, folks, under dark skies.
Edit - downloaded the full res image - that is just astounding, Bert - it's full of STARS! Apologies that the attached screen shot doesn't do it justice, but I hope it convinces people to download that 9MBytes and forget your download limit!!
